It’s Monday again! I never knew I could be this excited for a Monday until I started my own business. Did you know I was always uncomfortable to wear a bikini or a bathing suit?
Boobs were too small, no ass, fat tummy, love handles that nobody wants to hold and I can go on and on and on about it. I was insecure about everything. We women can do that. Until we start to believe it yourself. Now, at the age of 31, I finally love my body because I feel good about myself. I’m more confident than ever.
Being an entrepreneur made me realize that taking care of my health (body and mind) is one of the most important things to do. Because you are your engine and you need to be fit and healthy in order to perform and feel good about yourself. If you are not fit and healthy you won’t be confident when you walk into a room and try to sell your product or service.
With confidence I don’t mean just your appearance alone, it’s also a mindset. You are as beautiful as you allow yourself to so see. If you’re not happy with the way you look, change your eating habits, work out, change your mindset. Write down what you love about yourself and repeat it time after time. If you love your hair, make sure that shines the most. If you love your smile, smile more!
Trust me, the mind is powerful and our mindset is everything. It’s not about having the perfect Kylie lips, the Victoria Secret body, or the JLO bottoms. I know a lot of girls who are beautiful but still feel miserable because their mindset is not at peace. You have to love yourself because how cheesy it might sound, there is only one you and life is too short to not love yourself the fullest.
I believe a physical work out is essential in order to keep my mind healthy. If I don’t train for a while, I have no outlet for everything on my mind. I get stressed and I start to feel down. Most successful people work out early in the morning to fresh up their mind before starting their workday for a reason.
I always try to make time to eat and exercise because I know it will help me perform better. In order to train more regularly, I ask a friend who we call Hulk (I mean, enough said right ;)) to train with me once a week. Not only fun, but also a great motivator (check my Ig-stories for more about this!)!
Can’t wait to work out this week again after letting go for two months. I do Pilates, yoga and fitness to stay fit. How about you? What do you do to stay fit?
